Q: Aprons - Y/N? if Y, what does your favorite look like?
A: Yes I do and it hangs as a decoration. It's actually really pretty. It has garnered many a compliment. Fireflies gave it to me for a gift one year.
Q: Baking - Favorite thing to bake?
A: CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE BARS!!!
Q: Clothesline - Y/N?
A: Nope. I have a white metal bar in my laundry room. Does that count???
Q: Donuts - Have you ever made them?
A: I ditto Kel. Why ? When there is Krispy Kreme.
Q: Every Day - One homemaking thing you do every day?
A: Read and pray. Seriously. It is part of my"whole duty" and the only "task" I do EVERY
day.
Q: Freezer - Do you have a separate deep freeze?
A: nope
Q: Garbage Disposal - Y/N?
A: Nope. I wish that I did.
Q: Handbook - What is your favorite homemaking resource?
A: The Internet
Q: Ironing - Love it or hate it? Or hate it but love the results?
A: I don't mind it except for early in the morning. I am not a "scheduled ironer" I iron as part of the process of "getting ready" to go somewhere.
I LOVE the results.
I do not like the wrinkled look.
Q: Junk drawer - Y/N? Where is it?
A: I have treasure drawers and periodically I "organize" my treasures.
Q: Kitchen - color and decorating scheme?
A: The colors are light browns and greens with white cabinets. I have not completed the decorating.
Q: Love - What is your favorite part of homemaking?
A: All of it. I consider it a honor and a privilege.
Q: Mop - Y/N?
A: Why of course
Q: Nylons - Wash by hand or in the washing machine?
A: Into the Maytag they go, they go.
Q: Oven - do you use the window or open the oven to check?
A: Both. Not opening the oven is like using rubber gloves to clean. I have got to actually see AND feel the task at hand.
Q: Pizza - What do you put on yours?
A: Mushrooms, mushrooms, bacon, bacon, onions and mushrooms.
Q: Quiet - What do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?
A: Sit down.
Q: Recipe card box - Y/N? What does it look like?
A: Nope.
Q: Style of house - What style is your house?
A: Cottage...Okay Sisterfriend Jen ( see comments) ...a large cottage ;)
No...seriously, I think the house plan said "cottage style"
Q: Tablecloths and napkins - Y/N?
A: I have a variety and I only use them on special occasions. I am a great supplier of paper napkins though.
Q: Under the kitchen sink - Organized or toxic wasteland?
A: Skull and cross bones are inscribed on the cabinet doors and make sure you tie a rope around your waist and bring your compass if you decide to go in there.
Q: Vacuum - How many times per week?
A: Enough times per week
Q: Wash - How many loads of laundry do you do per week?
A: Around 10
Q: X's - Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?
A: Nope. I am a firm believer in a grocery list though.
Q: Yard - Y/N? Who does what?
A: This is a family affair. I personally LOVE to cut the grass because it's NOT housework!!!
Q: Zzzz's What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?
A: It depends on the day.One thing I do every night is getting the coffee pot ready for the next day.

Cottage?
If you're house is a cottage, I'll eat my hat.
Not really, since they cause certain death from indirect intestinal disturbances within close proximity.
But for real...when I think "cottage" I think of something tiny. Which, you know...is not how one might describe certain 'cottages' of certain peoples.

The yard is a family AND friend thing...
I remember numerous occasions where I was lucky enough to spend the night Friday and wake up to a long list for the outside on Saturday...
I loved those days...
